Topps' latest tease of their release of 2026 Five Star baseball is the kind of post that gets MLB stars active on their burners and saving up their cash and trade assets. Any game-used patch/auto cards that look this good are bound to be atop any collecting player's personal wishlist.

This monstrously high-end product drops on Oct. 28, featuring six cards in every box. Five of those will be on-card autos numbered to 199 or less. One will be a base card numbered to 50 or less and ... I'm gonna be honest, I feel like we could've just restricted this to five cards and been fine.

If you're interested and would like to know the price per box, well ... you'd better be in a certain bracket. But if you've got disposable cash and needed your appetite whet a little bit, look no further than the insane patchwork that Topps opted to show off this week.

That Bobby Witt Jr. patch is so good. That Mariners compass is so good. The Pirate's head! Is so good!

These are the kinds of patches you used to see in sketchy eBay listings where you were like, "Yeah ... some scammer just cut this off a jersey and slapped it onto a plain white swatch, didn't he?" But these are legitimate, of course, and they're so exciting they even had the Topps Relic Coordinator hopping out of the woodwork to brag about his hard work.

Michael Harris Jr. Braves Tomahawk patch might be Topps Five Star's finest work

It's rare that the power of the follow-up tweet eclipses the original, but Topps understood the assignment and doled out 1/1 Michael Harris and Francisco Lindor cards that'll blow your mind.

You've got to forgive the Shohei Ohtani. It doesn't belong in the same league. You can't make chicken salad out of a thin "L" and "A". But we're glad it's here.

Stop showing me these. It's actually mean that you're showing me these. I won't pull these.

As if the Five Star promo wasn't enough, Topps decided to further entice me to reach through my computer screen and emerge, my hand somehow wet now, holding a one-of-a-kind Jackson Chourio from a different product, Topps Dynasty.

Yup. The Uecker Houndstooth path with embroidered signature. Relic Coordinator, you're crazy for this one.
