Years ago, there would only be a handful of product releases and you could almost set your watch as to when they would be released. However, the explosion of collecting's popularity has brought with it a sea of new products clogging up the calendar. For many collectors, it is almost impossible to keep up with which products are coming out when.
Topps and Panini certainly don't make this quest for knowledge any easier with how cagey they are about release dates (and checklists, for that matter). To help make sense of the chaos, we decided to put together a calendar of all of the known sports card releases for 2026.

Some will inevitably notice that most of the unlicensed products are not included in this calendar. That was done to keep the calendar from being to unwieldy, and many of those products have relatively small groups of fans. We included some of the bigger unlicensed releases, but a line had to be drawn somewhere. Hockey releases are also currently not on the calendar, but that is something we are likely to revisit in the coming weeks and months.
Below, you will find the current 2026 sports card release dates that are known. You will see that the entire calendar is not filled out and that is entirely due to the fact that Topps and Panini no longer try to set release dates, only to have to move them when delays inevitably happen. Still, we have plenty of information to go on for now and this calendar will be updated as more release information is made available.
