Late Monday night, it was revealed that the Cleveland Guardians were calling up Travis Bazzana, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft. While some of the shine on Bazzana's prospect stock has worn off after he turned professional, he is still considered to be one of the better hitting prospects in MLB who should be able to contribute from Day One.

It certainly doesn't hurt that Bazzana is going to be playing for a Guardians team with playoff aspirations and a need for offense, as they are probably going to be right in the thick of the AL Central race all season long. For card collectors, MLB debuts are also an opportunity to revisit and speculate on that player's existing cards in hopes of adding them before the price spikes too much.

Travis Bazzana cards to target now that he has made it to MLB with Guardians

This is not a list of the most valuable Bazzana cards. If you find yourself with deep pockets and a desire to buy up high-end Bazanna cards, just search for parallels of Bazzana's Bowman 1st autos (more on those in a second) and put that debit card to work. This list is about identifying a variety of Bazzana cards for collectors of all budgets that are certainly worth keeping an eye out for now that Bazzana has made it to the big leagues.

All price data comes from Sports Cards Pro just for the sake of consistency, and these figures will obviously change over time.

2024 Panini Prospect Edition Kaboom #14

  • Raw Price: $257
  • PSA 10 Price: $1,024

It is admittedly weird that unlicensed SSP inserts command the premiums that they do when it comes to baseball cards. However, Kabooms (as well as Downtowns and a couple of others) became so iconic under Panini that the demand has remained very strong. At the moment, you can get a Bazzana Kaboom for around $250, although the odds the price stays that low if he plays well at all are near zero.

2025 Panini Three and Two Downtown #20

  • Raw Price: $243
  • PSA 10 Price: $685

Speaking of Downtowns, Bazzana's from 2025 Three and Two also come in as an option for those on the higher end of the collecting spectrum. The story is similar to the Kaboom here in that the raw price is very comparable, although it is considerably cheaper to find Bazzana's Downtown in a PSA 10 compared to the four-digit asking price for his Kabooms already.

2025 Bowman Anime #BA-17

  • Raw Price: $201
  • PSA 10 Price: $572

We have returned to the realm of licensed products, but are still dealing with an SSP insert in Bazzana's Anime insert from 2025 Bowman. Animes have quickly become one of the bigger insert chases in baseball cards, and despite not being from his draft or rookie year, Bazzana's will still set you back $200-ish for a raw copy and well over double that for a PSA 10.

2024 Bowman Draft Chrome Prospect Autograph #CPA-TB

  • Raw Price: $195
  • PSA 10 Price: $350

It is honestly surprising that Bazzana's Bowman 1st auto from 2024 Bowman Draft doesn't rank higher, but that speaks to the insane demand for some of these super short-printed inserts. That said, don't expect that to remain the case for long, as Bowman 1st autos still command big premiums, and these are going to jump up in price now that Bazzana is in the majors.

2025 Panini Prizm Color Blast #4

  • Raw Price: $130
  • PSA 10 Price: $350

And we're back to the SSP inserts again. Color Blasts have been heavily targeted by collectors for years, but the unlicensed baseball versions have not quite kept pace with Kabooms and Downtowns in terms of demand. As Bazzana was being called up, you could get his Color Blast for $125-130. Even with the expected price spike, these might be a sneaky investment opportunity.

2025 Bowman Crystalized #BWC-4

  • Raw Price: $123
  • PSA 10 Price: $223

If unlicensed cards are not your thing, another SSP insert in the same price range is Bazzana's Crystalized insert from 2025 Bowman. These cards look great and are gaining favor in the market, even if other Bowman inserts like Garbage Pail Kids, Bowman Spotlights, and Animes get more buzz at the moment. Also, if you can get a PSA 10 copy in the $200-250 range and can afford it, that feels like a worthy gamble.

2025 Panini Donruss Whammy #7

  • Raw Price: $69
  • PSA 10 Price: $160

The next tier down in terms of budgets is difficult given the lack of Bazzana cards in general at the moment, but there is at least one option that isn't just a parallel of his Bowman 1st non-auto. Donruss Whammy SSP inserts don't have the following that other inserts enjoy, but they check many of the same boxes, and you can currently get Bazzana's for under $75.

2025 Bowman Sapphire Selections #BSS-17

  • Raw Price: $16
  • PSA 10 Price: $84

Not everyone has a lot of spare cash to spend on cards, but there are still options available for those who just want to dabble. Take Bazzana's Sapphire Selections insert from 2025 Bowman Sapphire. The card is beautiful and comes from a set that has significantly shorter print runs than standard Bowman releases. If you have a spare $20 or so, you can get a really nice Bazzana card that actually has a little long-term upside.

2024 Bowman Draft Chrome Refractor #BDC-1

  • Raw Price: $14
  • PSA 10 Price: $119

When in doubt, getting a refractor of any player's Bowman 1st at the right price is a good idea. This is a card that is likely to spike after his debut, but eagle-eyed collectors can still get one for under $20 for now. Honestly, even getting a base Chrome 1st or two of Bazzana isn't the worst idea, as those will go steadily up if he plays well while not requiring a massive front-end investment.
