Unless you are a baseball fan who has been under a rock for a while, it has been impossible to ignore Red Sox outfielder Roman Anthony’s ascendance. Had he not suffered an oblique injury in early September 2025, he could have made Nick Kurtz sweat in the AL Rookie of the Year race. Still, after posting a very strong .859 OPS through his first 71 games in the majors, collectors have been eagerly awaiting his rookie cards in 2026 products.
So far, that demand has been as much, if not more, than expected. Anthony’s 2026 Topps Series 1 hits are going for big money, and that is likely to be true of the tougher pulls of his from the recently released 2026 Topps Heritage. The market for his rookie cards is likely to stabilize a bit once more of his rookies are available, but collectors need not wait to acquire cards of Anthony that have real value.
Here are some of the most valuable Roman Anthony cards that aren’t even his rookie cards
All sales data here is pulled from SportsCardsPro’s average sales as of April 18, 2026. Averages will vary depending on where you are getting your info, but this was the easiest way to preserve some amount of consistency in the rankings here.
Also, this is not a “true” ranking of Anthony’s most valuable non-rookie cards, per se. Such a list would be mostly parallels of his Bowman 1sts and 1st autos, which would be extremely boring. Some liberties were taken to provide some variety for prospective collectors. Just know that going into the rankings below.
2025 Panini Three and Two Downtown #4
- Raw Price: $1,422
- PSA 10 Price: $3,475
While not MLB licensed anymore, Panini has been dominating the super short print insert part of sports card collecting for a while, though Topps has gotten a lot better with big successes like Bowman Spotlights, All Kings and All Aces, and Strokes of Gold. Aside from Kabooms, which we will get to in a minute, the other big SSP inserts from Panini products that are all the rage are Downtowns. Anthony’s Downtown from Panini Three and Two tops our rankings here, as they are commanding well over $1,000 raw at the moment, with PSA 10s going much higher.
2023 Bowman Chrome Prospect Autographs #CPA-RA
- Raw Price: $875
- PSA 10 Price: $1,825
Unsurprisingly, Anthony’s Bowman 1st auto from 2023 Bowman ranks very highly on this list with parallels going for what some would call “stupid money”. Anthony was “only” a second-round draft pick, so there wasn’t as much hype as you would think at the time. However, that changed pretty quickly, and now these 1st autos are basically a must for any serious Anthony collector.
2024 Panini Prospect Edition Kaboom #11
- Raw Price: $690
- PSA 10 Price: $2,000
The other big Panini SSP insert, Kabooms have become a driving force when it comes to NBA and NFL card markets, although it is hard to guess what happens now that Panini won’t have the licenses to either of those leagues anymore. Despite being an unlicensed card that typically turns collectors off, people are still shelling out hundreds for raw copies, and PSA 10s are healthily into four figures.
2025 Panini Prizm Color Blast #9
- Raw Price: $475
- PSA 10 Price: $900
Color Blasts are another valuable SSP in Panini products, though they aren’t as ubiquitous as Downtowns or Kabooms. However, the lack of Anthony SSPs overall (for now) has his Color Blast from Panini Prizm going for real money. There is a decent chance these will come down a bit over time as more licensed Anthony cards come out, but the Color Blast is still a decent investing opportunity if you are betting on him, especially if you can score a gradable copy for a good price.
2024 Bowman Chrome Mega Box Prospect Autograph #BMA-RA
- Raw Price: $289
- PSA 10 Price: $531
For those looking not to make an extra mortgage payment for an Anthony auto, his non-1st Mega Box autograph from 2024 is a very decent alternative. The mojo pattern background is not for every collector, but these are really nice and decently affordable, both raw and graded. It wouldn’t be surprising to see this card get devalued a bit as more of his rookie autos hit the market, but definitely a card to keep an eye out for.
2023 Bowman's Best of Autographs #B23-RAY
- Raw Price: $203
- PSA 10 Price: $571
Bowman’s Best, in general, is just an underrated product and has a lot of Topps Finest vibes to it. Anthony’s earliest Best autos are still commanding a premium compared to many other autos in the product from other prospects, but they are still mostly reasonable and could also come down a bit in the first half of 2026 (unless Anthony goes completely wild).
2024 Bowman Sterling Prospect Autograph #PA-RA
- Raw Price: $222
- PSA 10 Price: $467
Unlike its Topps Sterling counterpart, which is one of the true ultra-premium MLB products that come out every year, Bowman Sterling has struggled to find an audience. It clearly wants to be a premium product, but the value of singles from the set hasn’t matched that aspiration. That said, anything with Anthony’s signature on it has a ton of value right now, and Bowman Sterling cards ARE pretty. The ceiling isn’t super high with these, but the floor is also pretty safe unless you think Anthony is going to be a bust.
2025 Bowman Chrome Ascensions #BA-14
- Raw Price: $200
- PSA 10 Price: $719
Now we get back to SSP inserts, but Ascensions are at least from licensed products, which have been getting more and more respect from collectors over time. They're tough pulls, but this is one card where having more and more rookie SSPs coming out could depress prices in the short term. However, if Anthony is as good a player as many think he is going to be, that price dip for anything this short-printed of him won’t last long at all.
2024 Bowman Draft Spotlights #BS-11
- Raw Price: $175
- PSA 10 Price: $1,680
Spotlights are quickly becoming a collector’s favorite thanks to their sleek, simple design and low print runs. Once we inevitably see an Anthony RC version of Spotlights in 2026 Bowman products, there is a decent chance that these dip in value. However, his 2024 version is short-printed and more than desirable enough to hold its own against most of Anthony’s early cards. These are also very tough to get in a high grade, so there is some upside for those playing in the deep end of the hobby.
