There are a lot more minor player movement than at the major league level. These moves may not make front page news and generally go unnoticed, but year after year minor teams fill their rosters with minor free-agents. These minor league free-agents are used to fill roster spots, as injury fill ins, and to provide leadership to organizational top prospects.
