Analysis: The Las Vegas native throws a 94 mph sinking fastball, change-up, and slider. He won MiLB.com Organizational All-Star and Rising Starts honors, and was selected to the Mid-Season and Post-Season All-Star team in 2014.  He continues to demonstrate good command and solid idea for pitching by putting up solid walk  and ground-ball numbers (1.58 GO/AO).

2015 Prognosis: Wagner will start 2015 in Double-A, but will quickly move up the Brewers minor league ladder. He could see the majors by the end of 2015 as he continues to improve on his secondary pitches.

More from MLB Prospects

Analysis: The Native of Sabana Grande De Palenque, Dominican Republic, has all the tools to turn into an elite infielder. He will add power as his body fills out, but for now shows solid gap power. Franly demonstrated an advanced plate presence with 9.2 BB% and 24.4K% as a 17 year old. Mallen struggled in the field with 28 errors at SS in 291 chances and a .904 fielding percentage.

2015 Prognosis: Another year at Rookie ball will do Franly some good. His athleticism will give him another couple years at SS but as he fills out, expect him to switch positions.

Did not play in 2014

Analysis: The native of San Cristobal, Dominican Republic was signed as for $3.1 million which breaks the team’s previous amateur international signing bonus record of $800,000. He has plus power and contact for a 16 year old. Lara doesn’t possess elite speed or fielding attributes.

2015 Prognosis: The big teenager will play at SS in 2015, but will not stick there. He will end up landing as a corner outfielder or as a third baseman.

Analysis: The two-sport athlete from Lee’s Summit, Montana, is very very raw. In limited action, Monte showed a solid approach at the plate with a 13.8 BB% and 21.4 K% with good gap power. His produced solid BABIP (.348) and wOBA (.372) numbers to go with his plus-speed (32 SB).

2015 Prognosis: This is a guy that could shot up the Brewers Top Prospect charts over the next couple years and can develop into an impact outfielder. The big question for 2015 is where to play him? Is he a CF or a RF. His speed and gap power has me leaning towards CF, but as he put more muscle on his 6’3″ he could end up as a RF in the not too distant future.

Analysis: Nicolas Pierre Figueroa has a very projectable athletic frame, but at 17 he is very raw. He showed good power (.143 ISO) and an ability to pull the ball. Pierre hit 5 of his 6 home runs to LF. The San Pedro de Macoris native cut his strike outs down as the year went on, from 28 in June (23GP) to 17 in July (21GP) and finally 12 in August (15GP).

2015 Prognosis: The athletic Dominican should spend another year in the DSL and should continue to splitting his time between CF and RF. Don’t expect too much from Pierre as he continues to grow into his body.
