It may be early June, but All-Star season is here, as Low-A rosters have been announced, including the Sally League.

The Sally League rosters have a mix of top prospects, brothers of top prospects, and a grandson of a Hall of Famer.

Garin Cecchini made his big league debut for the Boston Red Sox on Sunday, but he was not the highest draft pick in his family. While Garin was drafted in the fourth round, his brother Gavin Cecchini was drafted in the first round, 12th overall, just two years later by the New York Mets. Gavin will start at shortstop for the Sally Leagues Northern Division.

Also starting in the Northern infield are Mike Ford, Jeff McNeil, and Ryan McMahon. Carlos Asuaje of the Greenville Drive, and recent featured interview here at Grading on the Curve, has made the squad in a utility role.

Meanwhile, the Northern outfield will feature a New York Yankee power hitting prospect, Aaron Judge, and consensus top-100 prospect David Dahl.

The Northern team will have a rough first inning, as the starting pitcher for the Southern League will be Hunter Harvey, who is third in the league in ERA and second in strikeouts.

The Northern outfield will feature the grandson of baseball Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski, Mike Yastrzemski, who is batting over .300 and slugging better than .520 this season.

The 14th and 16th overall picks in the 2013 draft, Reese McGuire and J.P. Crawford, both made the Northern team, but the league’s top home run hitter, Travis Demeritte, was left off the squad.
