AFL Daily Dip: October 24th, 2012

Following on the heels of our 2012 AFL Delegates series – where we broke down the players each organization was sending to the desert – I wanted to do a brief daily recap of the AFL action from the previous day. You could consider it a “junior” version of what we did this summer with the Prospect Pulse/Standout Sprouts series with a few minor changes. These pieces are meant to be “quick hits” to supplement other content I will publish each day, though I reserve the right to add thoughts on various players from time to time.

• RF – Trayce Thompson (CWS): 2-3, HR, 2 RBI, 2 R, BB, SB
• RHP – Taylor Thompson (CWS): 1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 SO
• CF – Billy Hamilton (CIN): 1-5, 3B, 3 RBI, R
• RHP – Kevin Quackenbush (SD): 1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 SO – After 6 appearances and 6.0 IP, he’s yet to give up a hit in the AFL.

• DH – Chris Dominguez (SF): 1-3, HR, 3 RBI, R, BB, 2 SO – Looking to recover from a dissapointing regular season he’s off to a 0.316/.381/.684 start in 5 AFL games.
