S2S Content Recap: October 21st-27th

A few more innings. That’s all that remains of the 2011 season and by the time most of you come across this article, either the St. Louis Cardinals or the Texas Rangers will be World Champions. Regardless of which team takes the title, I am elated with the way the postseason has gone. The playoffs have captured and showcased just how special the game of baseball can be. My hat’s off to both franchises on their fantastic achievements this season and for giving all of us the full 7-game complement of World Series matchups. Regardless of the outcome, both organizations are winners in my book.
Thankfully there is no more “off”season as baseball has evolved into a 365 day a year event. Tomorrow the hot stoves will officially fire up and all organizations will have their attention fixed on building for the 2012 season. No matter what phase we are in on the baseball calendar we will be here providing you daily content on the minor leagues, prospects and the draft.
