15th Overall: Brewers Select LHP Jed Bradley

At the beginning of the season Baseball America had Jed Bradley pegged as the 10th best college prospect in their College Top 100. Bradley is 6’4 and 203 pounds, the image of a real power lefty. Un-drafted out of high school, some mock drafts had him going in the top ten in this year’s draft.

Bradley’s arsenal features a low 90’s fastball, a plus potential change-up and a decent slider. He throws with solid command and projects to be a good starting pitcher. This season with Georgia Tech Bradley was 7-3, 3.49 ERA. Good numbers for sure, and the fact that he has the college tuning should serve well for Milwaukee.

Our Milwaukee Brewers site ReviewingTheBrew.com had this to say about Bradley –

"Jed is a lefty with a ton of potential.  While he does not have the accolades or numbers that Jungmann may have, he certainly has what the Crew is looking for.  This kid makes bats miss.  He finished last season with 106 K’s in only 98 innings of work."

A big physical pitcher is never a bad thing, that’s what I always say. (Okay…maybe I don’t say that). We will keep you updated on his progress here at S2S!
