Saturday evening–shortly before the 50th Florida State League All-Star Game–a field of six sluggers competed in the Yuengling Home-Run Derby. In the final round, Daytona Cubs first baseman Justin Bour defeated Brad Glenn of the Dunedin Blue Jays. With just one out remaining, Bour defeated Glenn on a towering shot that flirted with the right-field foul pole of Bright House Stadium. Coincidentally, heading into the competition Bour and Glenn had the most regular season home runs with 16 and 15 respectively.

This season Bour is hitting .308 with 17 doubles, 1 triple, 16 homers and 53 RBI. Bour currently has the second most doubles and homeruns in the Florida State League. The 23-year-old, left-handed batter played his college baseball at George Mason University. Bour was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 25th round 2009 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
